Wondering if we have an HTML page in a browser, and we let our users edit it, could the resulting HTML be used directly to email?
You could copy the HTML from the generated web page, but you would not be able to send the live page as is, since email clients do not run JavaScript.
hey, thanks for the reply. I’m not a dev, so trying to determine if it would work, in case it’s something I could have our guys implement.
Basically if you set up a web page that was your “email”, then you could copy/paste the HTML from that page into an email and it would work.
You’d have to copy the HTML as viewed by the browser though (e.g. by clicking “view page source”)
